Broken Beauty - Weekend Reflections

What a wonderful afternoon Sissy and I had together, once more walking the echoing halls of  The Abandoned.  We were upstairs in what was formerly the office area, when we noticed how tall the flowering fruit tree had grown.  On the ledge where a window once occupied space, I found a small leftover shard of glass--reflecting the beauty of Springtime.

As always, in The Abandoned, one can find a certain Broken Beauty amidst chaos.

For more wonderful reflections from around the world, be sure to visit James at Weekend Reflections.

WARNING: If you visit The Abandoned, be sure to get permission from the owner, or caretaker before you come, otherwise you risk getting arrested for trespassing.

There certainly is a certain 'broken beauty' in this shot ... despite the interference of mankind, Nature still wins!

It may be broken, but it is still useful. Wonderful reflection!

A such a pretty detail... And it must have been difficulte to take, given the distant between the tree and the source of the reflection...
