Springtime in The Abandoned - Pink Saturday

The grounds surrounding The Abandoned hold many surprises, including this gorgeous rhododendron nestling next to the bark of a pine tree.

These fragile pink blooms grow outside what used to be the commons, where people would eat lunch next to the now non-existent ceiling high windows.

Outside the office area windows one can find springtime blossoms gracing the trees and reflecting back from the broken windows.

What beautiful shots - I love the way the brilliant silky pink of the rhody is set off against the rough texture of the pine.

Happy Pink Saturday!
