Oak Leaf Heart in The Abandoned - Guest Heart Thursday

Last summer, walking with my sister in The Abandoned, I caught this heart shaped opening in the overshadowing oak trees.  I haven't been able to walk there for some time--I hear there has been some clean up going on in The Abandoned.  I look forward to posting shots of its new look.  I imagine such a wonderfully magic place will respond to any efforts to clean and use the place.  It will always be a magical place to me.

WARNING: If you visit The Abandoned, be sure to get permission from the owner, or caretaker before you come, otherwise you risk getting arrested for trespassing.

That's so well spotted! It requires that you see it from exactly the right angle. Great capture!

Oh my gosh this Heart Image is so amazing !
It reminds me of my childhood walks through the woods . Oh how I miss those long ago walks.
Nature provided endless hours of free entertainment and inspiration .
Blessings to you :)

Didn't the finding of this oak leaf heart involve apricot brandy??? Snicker. It really is a beautiful and perfect heart sissie!

A heart filled with blue sky is especially beautiful to those of us under gray skies. The next time we are near Wilsonville we are going to have to find this place, it looks really interesting.
