Through a Glass Darkly - Weekend Reflections

There is an almost cathedral-like feel to this skylight glimpsed in a reflection from a shard of broken mirror found on the floor of The Abandoned.

For more wonderful reflections from around the world, be sure to visit James at Weekend Reflections.

Yes, it is rather cathedral like, I would call it "The Broken Promise."
By the way, is the illustration of the bird in the trees yours? I love it. But, alas, no one at home in the Etsy store!

Must be a stunningly amazing building. Wondering why it closed ??

You captured it beautifully! I love the refracted/reflected sunlight off the broken skylights. You should see the place now - they brought a little bobcat into the building and have been busily scraping up the carpet along with the broken glass, discarded metal, and garbage. They are also knocking out a bunch of walls. It's starting to look almost empty!
